I had my exam earlier (cue charging around the room in TRIUMPH with my arms in the air) so I no longer feel guilty about offering more instead of revising (I figured no-one would pay me for revising.)

So, I'm offering ficlets here.

$4 each in Discworld, Top Gear, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (book), CHERUB, Thief of Eddis, Harry Potter, SGA, Peter Pan (book) or Good Omens.

Longer fic is still on offer here and if you want me to play with your site I'm available for web-work here

Other [info]help_haiti folk on my flist, if you want to stick your own auctions in the comments I'm as happy for folk to browse them as mine!

Laura: I took severe objection to one of my exam questions

Laura: Vicky giggled at me

Laura: Because the question was "How does cloud computing affect the traditional configuration and installation procedures used by IT support technicians. Answer explaining the differences between remote and automated installation."

Laura: Because the answer SHOULD have been "For all the hype. Google Chrome OS hasn't even LAUNCHED yet so no-one really KNOWS how completely relying on cloud computing will affect anything. However, as we're clearly in THE FUTURE I asked my robot dog and he said that it means there won't BE any installation because you'll just be supplying your users with usernames and passwords to access apps in the cloud. Maybe one per app for many different companies, maybe just one for google. Who knows? It's the Future. But it certainly won't need automated or remote installation."
