SWITCH PROCESS
1. switch receives broadcast frame from pc to port (ground control to major tom)
2. switch enters source mac address and port receiving frame into address table (ground control, earth)
3. if destination is broadcast, switch floods frame to all ports, except one (can you hear me major tom? can you hear me major tom?)
4. destination device replies to broadcast with unicast frame for pc-sending-message (this is major tom to ground control)
5. switch enters source mac address of device and port number into address table (major tom, capsule)
6. switch can carry messages between the two without flooding using address table ("tell my wife I love her very much" "she knows")
I MAY REVISE A LITTLE ODDLY
